After receiving several requests from our previous students, TLALOC now focuses in having volunteers who already speak Spanish good enough to get by; these participants have made a big difference in Cuernavaca´s poor communities & the surroundings by bringing a lot of donations and also by helping with the different areas where their participation was needed. Anyone can become part of this amazing program; this does not only help our people, but also has helped the participants to improve their Spanish skills! Perhaps you´re someone who is currently studying in a community college or the university and would like to start practicing according to your career. Therefore, it is a must for you to take part of these volunteering/internship areas that there are available at TLALOC. A catholic orphanage that requires people to commit with them for at least 1 year long. ROOM & BOARD IS PROVIDED as same as a salary every 2 months or so! The openings are as it follows:
#2. A Christian orphanage. This is willing to have anyone from anywhere as long as they want. Unfortunately, they're having an internal improvement. Therefore, we have to wait for them to tell us when we can get more volunteering students to join their program. These are some especial non-profit government branches that have several different areas & specific departments where anyone can intern or volunteer for the following fields & areas: Domestic violence matters, child molesting (kids sexually abused "raped"), getting kids off the streets, AIDS charity & orientation, women rights, women center, drug abuse, young pregnancy, temporary orphanages, Senior center "Elderly asylum", childrens´ hospital and adult hospital, building shelters & homes for people who work in the fields as same as the homeless, orphans or poor kids, poverty issues, education (English for instance is welcome), computers, agriculture, medical assistance (doctors, nurses and dentists), handcrafting with indigenous people from different parts of Mexico, psychology, counselling, cultural exchange, social services and much more...! There are several kids who would like to learn the language, therefore, this could be a great chance for anyone to provide with their knowledge. Human Rights (this job can be for anyone with or without previous experience in this area specially for lawyers) A non-profit organization to help victims from any unrighteous situation. Journalism. We have an agreement with a local newspaper that already has an English section, but from time to time, they need people who would like to help them in writing some local news in English. (We might also have this same journalism agreement with a huge local radio station, although we're still waiting for an answer from them) Design and manufacture of various automotive body kits, automotive lighting, Fog lights etc, plus POS, expo stands and packaging design. The wage is $100.00 USD per week. Speaking Spanish & having experience in the field is a must! Restaurant and hotels. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants in towns where you can be a water/waitress, host/hostess, etc... Veterinarian assistance. A private Veterinary is seeking for people worldwide to assist him with the different pets that need to be taken care off.
